Process and Data Analyst

RIVR Solutions Ltd. (RIVR) is conducting a time and motion study. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career engineer or business grad to gain experience with data collection, data analysis, process refinement, and project management.

You will also receive strong mentorship from our Owner-Directors and Project Lead who have extensive experience in process improvement, Lean manufacturing principles, project management, and business consulting.

This position will require weekly travel to study sites across Alberta. Transportation will be provided and travel costs will be covered.

Accountabilities:

- Accurately and efficiently record data as you observe processes at the study sites

- Undertake analysis to format work study data to ensure accurate and useful process improvement recommendations for the client

-Work collaboratively with both the client and project team to deliver projects on time and in line with the defined scope

- Actively participate in project meetings to provide project updates and address concerns

- Support the Project Lead with coordination of site visits, including travel planning, contacting sites, and confirming visit details

-Identify project risks and issues and bring them to the attention of the Project Lead and/or RIVR Owner/Directors

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or Business Administration

Preferred Skills:

- A curious mindset and an ability to capture and interpret data to understand how it can be optimized

- Logical thinker with strong attention to detail and data accuracy

- Must be self-motivated, flexible, collaborative, and capable of working independently including time away from home at clients’ sites

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Class 5 Alberta Driver's license

-Experience of working in retail or other customer-facing environments is an asset
