About the Roles
As Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social identity data (SID) collection strategy for clients as well as analyzing the data, developing tailored tools and workflows, creating reports and dashboards, and ensuring data quality.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate best practices for SID data collection strategies within sectors we represent.
- Assess SID requirements for Ministry and funder reports.
- Provide support for SID collection, problem-solve challenges in the development of optimal work flows.
- Use project management tools as necessary to ensure coordination between departments and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Encourage and adopt a participatory and utilization-focused evaluation approach to enrich understanding of SID successes and challenges, and client outcomes.
- Conduct Agency evaluation activities for continuous improvement. This may include the development and implementation, reporting and knowledge dissemination, and application of findings.
- Collaborate with academic, professional and government institutions to promote JF&CS through joint ventures in research, program evaluation, publication of relevant findings and presentation of findings.
- Has an understanding and commitment to the Agency's Research and Evaluation program and participate in evaluation activities as required.
- Adheres to all applicable privacy legislation in the collection and retention of data
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in a related field such as Applied Community Psychology, Social Psychology, Public Policy, Sociology a human services discipline with expertise in impact measurement and data management, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging frameworks.
- Advanced skills in systems management and technical proficiency with various digital platforms, including SM Apply, Survey Monkey, DocuSign, CRM tools, or other data management platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in managing datasets, including tasks such as coordinating data entry, ensuring data quality, and managing confidential data storage.
- Prior experience in a non-profit social service setting is considered an asset. Comprehension of French, Russian or Hebrew or another language will be considered an asset
