Description

Do you have knowledge of data and statistical analysis along with strong research and problem-solving skills? Are you passionate about supporting data-based and evidence-informed decision-making in social policy to help improve the lives of Ontarians?

Consider joining the Analytics and Measurement Branch where you will analyze Ontario social, economic, demographic and labour market conditions and their implications on Ministry programs, and develop demographic data sets, population projections and products to inform Ministry program/policy development, business planning, funding policy, and service restructuring.

This posting is for a total of two positions: Income Supports Analytics Unit (1 position) and the Measurement and Evaluation Unit (1 position).

The Income Supports Analytics Unit provides quantitative analytic supports to income support programs, child and spousal supports, and Ontario Child Benefit to inform policy development, fiscal and operational planning, strategic policy, and communication. It conducts analysis of economic trends and changes to income security programs and tax benefits with a focus on client, fiscal and operational impacts on MCCSS programs.

It develops outcome measurement frameworks, KPIs, data collection tools (e.g., surveys), and conducts rigorous evaluations to measure program and system level results to generate evidence and inform decision making.
