Data Analyst

• Designing, developing, and implementing scalable, high-performing data visualizations in tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Cleaning and transforming data, shaping it into data models conducive to data analytics.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define key measurements necessary to gauge the progress and success of business initiatives.
• Communicating and translating technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for our business customers and stakeholders.
• Mentoring and guiding Data Analysts throughout the company; aiding as they overcome obstacles in building their own visualizations.
• Debugging and troubleshooting reported issues in data visualizations.
• Ensure policies and best practices are communicated and followed throughout our data analytics community.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field
• 1-5 yr. experience in data analytics and building visualizations.
• Experience building complex data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau or a similar platform.
• Experience designing Data Models, understanding when to use different design patterns.
• Experience working with customers and delivering solutions to meet their business needs.

• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Azure Cloud services (Analogous experience with AWS or GCP is also considered an asset)
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification.
• Proficiency in SQL.
