The Opportunity:
We are changing the way people buy and service cars one dealership at a time. In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. Each month we welcome hundreds of new users to our software platform, and we need your help.

The Role:
PBS Systems is looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our Data Conversions team. As a Data Analyst, you will deliver top quality knowledge and expertise to our clients who contact our call center for issues or service by providing them with immediate solutions to their issues, services, or escalating if necessary to other departments.
Based in our Calgary HQ office, this is a full time permanent position that provides you with the opportunity to expand your knowledge in a growing and established company.
This is not a remote work opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data & applications through analysis, writing clear documentation and problem resolution
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
  • As a member of the Data Conversion team, the Data Analyst will be responsible for participating in the ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) for new clients into our software, will also be part of creating and maintaining ETL tools

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, college preferred
  • Beginner knowledge of SQL Database
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • Effective self-starter and strong team player
  • Ability to embrace variety, structure, change and innovation
  • Ability to analyze a company’s big-picture data needs
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
  • Ability to work 40-hours per week with occasional Sunday work
