CARMA ensures first-rate customer care, regulatory compliance, quality control, financial tracking and accountability.
We are currently seeking a skilled Data Analyst to provide coverage for maternitiy leave. This position is offered on a contract basis for a duration of 13 months.
Data Analyst Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring delivery of data through the pipeline:
- Submetering devices;
- Data collectors;
- Databases;
- Reporting applications;
- Composing and/or improving SQL queries and reports;
- Recommending and implementing approved automation of tasks wherever possible;
- Develop and maintain technical and process documentation;
- Maintain the credibility of the DevOps team in interactions with stakeholders;
- Consult with other members of the DevOps team when assessing improvements and providing; support/training for any automation or programmatic solutions implemented;
- Attending daily team stand-ups, ceremonies and meetings as required;
- Be awesome!
Experience/Knowledge/Ability
- General Data Management skills including governance and security;
- Advanced SQL ability;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills;
- Solid understanding of Python or other programming language(s) used in automation;
- Understanding of Airflow and DAGs;
- Understanding of methods in data management, e.g., FTP, Bulk data pipelines, data quality.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a field such as statistics, computer science, or mathematics;
- Certifications are desirable but not required (Data Analyst, SQL, CDMP).
